Over the past two weeks, I've gone through and provided a few posts about some of the stuff I saw that I thought was cool at the BlackBerry Wireless Enterprise Symposium.  And with that, it's time to wrap things up.

Some of the highlights I had and things I can't wait forward to were:

• BlackBerry 6:  RIMs new operating system that will hopefully provide a more consumer friendly experience.  I don't expect it to be the same as the iPhone or Droid as RIM still needs to focus on their extensive corporate client list and maintaining high security, but it looks like it will provide a decent evolution from the current OSes.

• SanDisk:  It's good to see the 32GB microSD cards are now out and should be available in retail stores soon.  While these cards may not appeal to everyone, they will be a big help to those who need/want that extra space.  I also can't wait for the new SDXC format to come out and for that to enter the micro market.  Another interesting one for SanDisk is their SlotRadio+ player and card.  It's a great idea with a lot of potential.  A little work is still required, but it's well on it's way, and the music selection was very impressive.

• BMW:  We're finally going to be able to see the next evolution in driving and communication.  By displaying and reading emails from your BlackBerry onto the car's display, we finally have a way to ignore the urge to check our BlackBerry devices while driving without feeling any anxiety about the emails we may be missing.

• CaseMate:  They've got some great looking cases which can protect your BlackBerry or other smartphone without detracting from the form or function of your device.  And now, you can design your own cases so that you can have exactly what you want.

• OtterBox:  Need that extra protection?  OtterBox cases have you protected.  These are probably the most durable cases I've seen and tried.  Although not as sexy as the CaseMate cases, they still manage to look pretty good.

There are a lot of other things I'm looking forward to, some of which I've been unable to share, but this year should be a good year for BlackBerry, so now I just hope that they are able to keep up to the expectations that people have for them.
