Nintendo has officially announced (ahem) that the Nintendo Wii will be coming to North American shores in a svelte black finish. The onyx version of the console will come with a black remote/nunchuck and will colour co-ordinate with your other electronic devices. The great news is that you'll be able to buy additional black remotes (that's great for everyone, colour co-ordinating your remotes can help at parties!) and black nunchucks separately.
In addition to having the option of buying the system in black, you'll also find some new goodies in the box. On top of the classic Wii Sports you'll also find the fan favourite of Wii Sports Resort , offering new adventures and mini-games on an island resort in the spirit of Wii Sports. You'll find everything from sword fighting to jetskiing, offering new challenges and fun.
Making Wii Sports Resort even more fun is the included Wii Motion Plus device - this controller add-on increases the sensitivity of the Wii remote, making motion more accurate. Many new games are enhanced by Wii Motion Plus, so it's great to get one with the out-of-the-box experience.
So for customers looking for a new Wii have some great new options. The suggested retail price on this new bundle is $209.99 Canadian.
