Apple's World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) is one of those times when Apple makes big announcements. This year we're expecting:

• A new iPhone
• OS 10.6.4
• Safari 5

And probably some other surprises as well. One thing for sure, though. Keyboards will be overheating with all the typing.

Only the iPhone4 and iOS4 announced at the keynote. I'd expect other software announcements to come later (if they are coming at all).

@Ryan Toyota, I think it will be coming by end of June or the weekend of Canada Day. Not too sure, best to check with your carrier.

I have a question, will this Iphone support FLASH content? I know most other smartphones out their such as the Android ones do.

@Ryan, it will probably closer to mid-late July for the iPhone4.

@Emperuman, nope, no Flash in iOS4 for the foreseeable future.

US, UK, France, Germany and Japan will be releasing the iPhone4 June 24th. The rest of the world (Canada included) will be receiving iPhone4's July 1st (6 days after the first launch date). It's nothing to do with Apple sticking it to Canada, it's a carrier issue that wasn't resolved until it was too late. Canada was supposed to be on deck for June 24th but you can blame Rogers, Telus and *shudder* Bell for holding us all up.

As for flash, Steve Jobs as specifically said that the iPhone and all future Apple products (minus macbooks/iMacs) will *NOT* support Flash due to it's drain on the battery and overall performance on Apple products (iphone, ipod touch, ipads)

Yes, all 3 carriers will carry the iPhone 4.

@K_barnhouse(anon)_ actually i know for a fact that carriers will be having an exclusive offer. They will allow the renewing of contracts for anyone who has a 6 month time frame to their original renewal date. ie lets say you can only renew in Oct. or Nov, they will make an "exception". They are trying to compete with each other like crazy!
